This wedding meant a lot to me. I have known the bride since she we were in our teens, when we used to work together for her aunt at the world renowned Bishop’s Ice Cream shop in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. I adore Jackie and I was so thrilled to work with her and Stacey photographing their wedding at the Alerin Barn in St. Johnsbury, Vermont. Many of you know this is also the same wedding venue where Mark and I were married last June. Everything about this wedding weekend was very special to me. From the bride, to the venue, to the bridesmaids to the cowboy boots. I couldn’t have asked to capture a more amazing group of people on such an amazing wedding day! Julie + Eric’s wedding is the exact reason why we do what we do! There’s nothing better than photographing a wedding for a couple that is truly meant for each other. Eric and Julie are just that. Eric is a fireman. Julie is in med school to become a doctor. Together they make an amazing couple. (Check out the cake topper!)
We photographed Julie + Eric’s wedding a couple weeks ago at the gorgeous Cielo at Castle Pines in Castle Rock, Colorado. Eric had made special arrangements with the Castle Rock fire department to allow us to capture photos of the bride and groom at the station. WOW! A storm was rolling in and we were racing against the weather. We won. We captured the most gorgeous wedding photographs of these two with some pretty amazing clouds rolling in. Luckily, the storm passed just before their ceremony and they were able to still have an outdoor ceremony.

Photographing Brooke + Ryan’s wedding at The Country Club at Castle Pines was wonderful! Designed by Jack Nicklaus, The Country Club at Castle Pines is an 18 hole, championship-calibre course. They don’t do many weddings here, however, the groom’s grandfather, Charlie Coe was arguably the best amateur golfer that never went pro. (Coe won the United States Amateur in 1949 and 1958, and was the runner-up to Jack Nicklaus in 1959!) This made The Country Club at Castle Pines the perfect choice for the out-0f-state bride and groom.
Angie Johnston of Sapphire Celebrations, once again did an exquisite job coordinating every last detail to this gorgeous wedding! The cake was designed by Intricate Icings to match the vintage lace detail on Brooke’s wedding gown! The flowers were designed by Elizabeth from Dahlilah’s of Denver Flowers and were absolutely stunning!

It all started 3 years ago when I photographed Kerri + Billy’s wedding at the Keystone Ranch Golf Course in Keystone, Colorado. I not only fell in love with this couple but all of their friends, too! Along came Jeremy + Anna … good friends of Kerri + Billy. We photographed Jeremy + Anna’s wedding at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park, Colorado last year and, WOW, what a fun wedding! Each and every wedding we fall more and more in love with this group! A few weeks ago we had the pleasure of photographing Stephanie + Mike’s absolutely stunning wedding at the Devil’s Thumb Ranch in Tabernash, Colorado. If you are looking for a true Colorado get away, then Devil’s Thumb Ranch is the place!! Photographing Stephanie + Mike’s wedding was every wedding photographers dream! Amazing couple + amazing setting = amazing wedding! Congrats Stephanie + Mike! Can’t wait for the next couple in your group to say “I do”!!
